Date: Sun, 12 Oct 2008 to Sun, 12 Oct 2008 Duration: 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM Budgerigar Society, with limited funds, is striving to improve our local bird keeping standard by providing appropriate education & training to bird lovers. It also organizes public lectures through our guest judges at UVAS (University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore). For this purpose we invite very experienced and well known personalities from abroad to Pakistan to judge our Shows as last year we had invited Mr. Gerd Bliecher, Chairman WBO (World Budgerigar Organization, which is representing more than 24 countries world wide in all six continents). I have attached few pics also of our last show. This year we are inviting another reputed personality from London to judge our show. For your kind information, BSP is the first organization in this continent which is organizing "owner bred competition in Budgerigars" where all the members will compete with their home bred Budgerigars. We are also including competition of Cockatiel as per International standard. And if funds will allow we may include pigeons competition also which will enhance public interest. Their will be number of preciuos tame birds for families.

Chand & Suraj Khan are sons/students of renowned classical vocalist Ustad Hussain Bukhsh Gullo of Patiala Gharana. The young duo will present various generas of classical music like Khyal, Thumri & Kafi, Kashif Dani will accompany them on Tabla. Young Shabaz Aslam will play Keyboard.
